A game of cat and mouse

This is my sister's cat. About 2 years ago she developed a cyst on one of her eyes that eventually did so much damage that the eye had to be removed by a vet. Last year the same thing happened to her remaining eye. We thought that would spell the end for her, but we were wrong. A few weeks after the operation she began to venture outside, presumably using her other senses and a maybe a mind map. After a few more weeks she was able to jump in and out of the house through a small window that's left open for the other cats. Recently she has started hunting again, and quite effectively; she catches more than one mouse on most days. This is her eating her latest catch - not a very pretty picture, but a remarkable cat.
