Rickshaw

This kind, taana rickshaw ("pulled"), are getting more and more rare in India to be replaced by cycle rickshaws. The cycles are much safer for the drivers since their feet aren't in jeopardy and they don't feel much strain if they're pulling someone particularly rotund.

But every time we came to India when I was younger my mother and I would go on one of the taana rickshaws for a short ride. Unfortunately we weight far too much combined (or even individually) these days to keep up that tradition, so I settle for photographing them instead.
