Gifts of Grace

By grace

Normal

I've been thinking about the openess and intimacy in portraits of people in foreign lands, taken by foreigners in their lands, and posted here on blip. It'd been making me feel a little wistful for days gone by when I lived abroad and felt relatively free of my Scottish conditioning.

Today I took a few covert shots of people in the street and we all just looked so shut down. Locked in.

As I waited for the train home this image strayed into my lens and seemed to say it all.
