Steel Water Sculpture and the JW Marriott

The Marriott has a lovely restaurant on the ground floor where we had lunch today. Because it was almost 90 degrees, no one was enjoying the outdoor patio along the Grand River but we did step out to photograph this sculpture.

It's called "Steel Water" and commemorates Grand Rapids being the first city in the world to fluoridate its water; the sculpture was a gift to the city from the West Michigan Dental Foundation and was created by Dutch artist, Cyril Lixenberg. For a better view of the sculpture, see this.
