Levelling the garden

Our garden looks like we've gone for a no mans land theme.
On removing the 'lawn' it seems that whoever worked on the garden before laid the turf over a bulldozed house that had been hit by an incendiary bomb. All melted glass and charred wood and twisted metal.
Anyway I helped Dom by laying down and photographing the struggle.
