Erwin de Groot

Erwin is a PhD student from the Netherlands.

He came to Calgary for an internship and was offered a PhD position afterwards.

Erwin tries to turn mathematical equations into pretty pictures (for the techies: he is working on implicits). One of his latest creations can be seen here.

Besides his passion for his study Erwin also enjoys, hiking, playing Squash and creating pencil drawings.

After finishing his PhD in 2008 he would like to return to the Netherlands where he could work again on his Porsche 928 S4.
