Concert

This evening I did not go and play football as usual but instead we went to a concert in the Cathedral. Taking part were the EU Chamber Orchestra with Nicola Benedetti.

Andrew Motion, the former Poet Laureate, read before each movement of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Great music in a great setting, shame about the poetry.

While in the cathedral I took the opportunity to photograph Percy the rhino who is housed in the undercroft. The smaller rhino is one of over one hundred mini rhino which have been designed by local schools.
