Happy unbirthday

With Gail, Peter, Jack and Adam heading home today, they wanted to give George his presents before they left.

As usual, the cousins have all had a great time playing together.

In the kitchen this morning, Andy had corrected his Aunty Gail when she'd said it was George's birthday: "but," he'd said, "it's not his birthday yet."

When Gail pointed out that Andy was as bad as his dad, I decided not to correct her.

EDIT:

Odd conversations while watching the World Cup final

Andy: "Dad, wouldn't it be good if Scotland had a team."
Me: "Er, they do, they just didn't qualify."
Andy: "Really? Dad, if Scotland got into the World Cup, and they won, could we have some Coke?"
Me: "Yep, definitely."
Mo: "If Scotland win the World Cup, you can have Irn Bru."
Andy: "Can I have beer?"

The answer to this was, as he suspected, no. But then it dawned on me that during the World Cup after next, chances are that Matt will be wanting to watch it with a beer...
