Orange down and out...

I had hoped for a better world cup final. In the end, Spain was better and deserved the win. Arjen Robben could have won it for us but the Spanish also had quite a few good chances. Oh well, there's always next time and it absolutely was a great tournament for Holland! Should there be any Spanish blippers around (don't think I ever had a comment from Spain): congratulations on winning the world cup.

Before the match, we were in Den Helder to visit friends. They live close to the sea and we had a great time at the beach. I took some good shots at the beach but this one, taken in Den Helder but before we went to the beach, seems to fit better with both our visit to Den Helder and the world cup final. Inge (seen in this shot) and Ellis have fabulous red/orange hair and that will stay no matter if Holland wins or loses!
