Strobe-tastic

Hung Up was great.

The idea behind it was that Keith and Johnny from Optimo would still be involved in the club but, after twelve years of being committed to DJ'ing there every Sunday night, would instead only actually play every three or four weeks themselves and would book other DJs to do it to. They decided that if it wasn't the two of them every Sunday it wasn't Optimo any more. They officially ended Optimo back in April and Hung up officially began two weeks later.

Keith was playing last night though. Roz and I had reckoned it would probably be broadly similar, but it did actually feel distinctly different. It was no great surprise that it was a very, very good night out though, lots of dancing fro both of us.

There was lots of strobe too which made for interesting photographic effects.
