Bougainvillea

This morning's flower and spelling lesson is the Bougainvillea.

The white flowers are tiny. Normally from a distance we see the red flowers, but when we get up close and personal the white flower becomes visible.

According to the dictionary Bougainvillea is an ornamental climbing plant that is widely cultivated in the tropics. The insignificant flowers are surrounded by brightly colored papery bracts that persist on the plant for a long time. ? Genus Bougainvillea, family Nyctaginaceae.

Now I'm starting to use the kit lens 18-55 mm zoom and giving the telephoto zoom a rest.
