Sunny day

The third day of our trip brought beautiful weather, we had such a lovely day out.

First we went to Achnahaird - surely a contender for the best beach ever?

Next we went down to Ullapool for 'Round the pier day' where they had lots of games and stalls and people doing things for charity. There was a chocolate fountain, yumsk. We also went to the leisure centre and had a shower - don't underestimate how great a shower can feel after no running water for several days!

When we got back to the croft we got the boat out and went fishing in the bay. Yes indeed, I did catch two fish but we put them back because they were apparently the wrong sort of fish to be eating. One of them was massive (it was this big) so I am obviously awesome at fishing.
