a winter creek with water - at last!

last week's rain has finally got the winter creek flowing. I blipped the same creek on 22 June and it was utterly dry.

The kids are now engaging in the civil engineering project that comes naturally to all kids - damming the flow. They came back home after the task had been completed with the aid of their dad and dog, emptied out their wellies and needed complete sets of dry clothes!
