Corby...........

Today i had to attend a NHS dentist clinic for some major work at Corby....(that was a complete mess and left me feeling worse that when i went and i have a mouth full of blood) Having never been there but having heard lots about the place i decided to keep an open mind...But out of all the photos i took i opted for this one as it was the best part of Corby the train track out of the town.....
Corby was famous for steel years ago and now its run down...lots of new houses 3 and 4 bed houses on new estates but for most its very poor...tired housing and the buildings were terrible built in the 60/70's and it showed drab and tired.....I was shocked at the number of men who didnt work just spent the time hanging around at street corners etc....Some were young but there were some who were old....The other shock was the number of Scots and most had strong accents still even those youngsters who were born in Corby....
