Little Drummer Boy

The boy bought himself a wooden kit with some of his birthday money.
Spent most of another immensely rainy day painstakingly putting it together, with some assistance from Mrs MM. It's made of plywood and quite intricate, some of it needing sanded to fit.

The finished product is just the job.
I can almost see a little plywood Dave Grohl sitting on the wee stool, thrashing away.

Not sure if this is an early indication of the boy's likely musical direction.
But then, if it is, I'm not sure my ears are up to it...
