Dinners getting away

You never know what you my be served for dinner. this little crab was making a dash across the road to a little creek.

Mind you does not have run to the creek for water, it is everywhere here in Japan at the moment. Tuesday and Wednesday we had 600mm for the English and American visitors, thats 2 foot. I have never seen it rain so hard for so long, and we were always getting soaked through.

We are here to visit family and also to see the Hakata Yamakasa which took place at 5am yesterday. Do to darkness and rain i only took video, but it was an amazing sight seeing the floats being raced around the city. The floats are around a ton each, so quick a feat to run with them.
