life.turns.now.open

A couple of weeks ago, we told you a bit more about life.turns, the big Blipfoto community event running throughout this year's Edinburgh Art Festival.

Two more things to tell you today...

First off, we've just launched a dedicated life.turns. area on Blipfoto, which explains the whole project and the different ways you can get involved. You'll also find a wee teaser showing how the final movie might look.

Secondly, we want you to start uploading life.turns. images now. Just follow the instructions to find out how to shoot and upload to Blipfoto.

The Blipcentral massive have been testing this like crazy, but we really need the community's help before the official launch on the 29th to iron out all the kinks. If you have any questions or problems, please drop them in the life.turns. forum thread.

As an added bonus, any images submitted before the 29th could end up in a real life mechanical zoetrope on launch night.

We're waiting with baited breath for Apple to approve the iPhone app - as soon as it's available, we'll let you know.
