RW's Daily Exposures

Black-necked Stilt

Back to the San Francisco Baylands with lots of blip possibilities. I love it when the toughest work is picking the best blip out of a large group of shots.

This one won the bid as I like the reflection and the detail on the wings. The vegetation is Pickleweed (common name) a marshlands plant supplying oxygen and storing salt for photosynthesis. It's also a home for invertebrates - food for our fine feathered friends.

Enjoy Large!
