Bee's bum

After several dozen attempts to photograph bees on a windy day, all I got was this bee's pollen-dusted backside. It was having a grand time pootling among the hollyhocks that had keeled over after Wednesday's storm.

I also wanted to ask my fellow blippers who own both macro and tele/zoom lenses - which one do you use more often?
