Louise - Changing Natures

Sea of green..grey...blue

Coast to coast drive is complete, and we're home from a fantastic holiday on the shores of Loch Fyne. The Kintyre peninsula and Cowal have been explored top to bottom, great walks tramped, fine food eaten and the odd dram or two consumed. Well, there are distilleries in the area, so it would be rude not to!

The cottage where stayed was perfect - in the middle of its own deciduous forest, sloping gently to the shore, with deer wandering through the garden. This old rowing boat has found a new home to age in - it seems to be melting into the earth and is beautiful in its own way.

Some fairly heavy rain on the way back, taking the more picturesque route around Loch Lomond and Stirling, but now it's bright sunshine. Time for a cuppa...
