Cherries

Cherries always seem like a real treat. When I was little I would eat them like apples until all that remained were mini cores. I would hang them over my ears to resemble earrings as well.

The strawberries are in full flow in the garden too. They are particularly sweet this year and most evenings we have a bowlful with some good vanilla icecream.

Grandmere arrives today and it is the beginning of the summer holidays :)
