As we were going to St Abbs...

We left the miserable weather behind us and drove to Coldingham Bay where we walked along the coastline to a small sheltered bay and collected pebbles and sea glass. Brammle managed to locate and roll in the only dead gull on the beach and Nick decided to buy a bumper pack of custard creams in the village shop (why?) We drove on to St Abbs to catch the tail end of a rescue operation involving the lifeboat, helicopter, police and ambulance services. Someone had fallen from the cliff, but thankfully was not seriously injured. Buoyed up with fresh air we returned home and Nick and I rustled up pizza which always goes down a treat :)
