Pig of a day

We left Hawick in a bit of a rush this morning as the guy looking after the B&B was showing a worryingly mad side to him!! We set off in to a headwind and constant drizzle/rain for 22 miles to Newcastleton where we passed the well-known pig farm (aaah - Ola clained she would never eat pig again, but I will wait to see this), before stopping in the cafe there for a high calorie snack and caffeine (yummy). We then headed north to Bonchester Bridge for yet more food and the beginning of a dry spell. Left Bonchester Bruidge heading north and East, and arriving many hours later in Melrose where we stayed in the very quiet youth hostel. A big day with 75 miles done. Feeing very tired.
