Gopher Tortoise

Gopher tortoise in our front yard. He comes out of his underground home each day to eat some grass and then heads back in for the cool of the underground earth. He is about one foot across and one and one quarter feet long. Probably about 10 to 15 years old and a native tortoise to Florida.
