we will have fun

Even though it rained all day and the town is on flood alert (even though there is also a hose ban at the same time)...

we had fun!

We 'churned' our own butter.
Made animal puppets on sticks.
Looked at our blood under a microscope
Made cheese scones to go with our butter.
Watched a bit of the Tour de France.
Went for a 2 hour walk in the forest.
Went swinging on the rope swings.
Had hot chocolate and cake at a cafe after...
and had a friend around for dinner who entertained us with his travelling stories to hot climes.

Yes despite the summer rain we had fun!
