Deck View

Welcome to a part of the deck - the view actually. Today there is a lot of fog and mist in the air. We don't get this type of weather here that much, so outside I went. Took a load of images. I thought this one was quite nice.

The deck is full of potted plants. Many of which stay outside in the freezing winter and wake up each spring. Amazing when I think of it. Frozen roots and all and they survive!

The monster on the left is a Cedrus deodora that I've had for four years now. It would be fuller if it received direct sun all day, but the back here is mainly part sun/shade. Just enough to keep it going.

The next pot over is a Geranium with a cascade of Artemisia.

Center pot - English Thyme :)

Last pot on the railing, just beyond the little 'pot feet,' is another type of Geranium planted with a multi-color Lantana (stretching wayyyy to the left). On the far right of the image is Acer saccharinum that had sprouted in the yard a few years back.

In the background between the two pots on the deck, just to the right of the little pot feet, you can see the Moon Vine covering the side-yard fence.

I hope you enjoy this little piece of nature.

Bonnie - any edits? ;)
