Sunrise over YellowCraigs

It's the last day of my holiday before returning to work on Monday and I wanted to take a more special photo for todays blip.

I set the alarm for 3:30am and headed off on a 40 min drive to Yellowcraigs beach.

Got my self set up and sat and waited for the sun to rise. I had been to Yellowcrigs before and knew it was a great place for photos and with its east facing sands I was sure to catch the sun rising if the clouds would allow it.

I say for some time and just as I was about to give up the sky cleared enough to allow the sun to show. The resulting picture is this.
