A welcoming buddha

For 22 years I have been going to the same hairdresser. At first she was with another hairdresser in Paisley and then she decided to branch out on her own. Arlene Calleja is a superb hairdresser and I moved to her own shop 12 years ago.
She is very much influenced by Buddha,not because that is her religion, but because she feels Buddha influences her life. She was surprised to find from one of her clients( who is a Buddhist), that this particular statue was in fact a welcoming Buddha. It sits on the counter and is the first thing you see when you go into her salon.

Getting my hair cut in preparation for my brother Jim's wedding. Countdown now started! Can't wait.
