Grubbins Wood delight

Mila and I took a walk today to Arnside and Silverdale.
Journeyed along the estuary towards Silverdale and then came back via Grubbins Wood.
When we came to end there was no obvious way out so we doubled back the way we came in. It was then we saw a family of deer. They were very aware of us and kept their distance but we got a good shot of the doe and two fawns closely watched on by the buck. Got this shot when the buck made a run for it.
You never know what the day will bring and what you're likely to come across when you set out for a leisurely afternoon stroll but this certainly made my day
