Cooling Off

For those of you who viewed yesterday's blip, it is just mere coincidence that today's blip is so similar. I like to try and vary the shots in my journal, but couldn't resist this one....

We spent most of the day at a state park near our house...a state park filled with trails, lush greenery, and beautiful waterfalls. Apparently everyone else thought it was a nice day to visit also :) We started the day with a casual picnic, then hiked the very up and down trail (the kids did great and walked the majority of the way)! We ended with some cool, lime popsicles at a picnic table in the shade.

The weekend has been very hot, but very fun. Today and yesterday's image really sum up the summer fun we have had this weekend....
