Doc Abrams RIP (for real)

Local legend Dr. Marc Abrams passed away last week - may he rest in peace.

Dr. Marc Abrams was a beloved odd fellow, who power walked all over Silverlake at the quick pace of 15 miles per day, weaving up and down small and main roads everywhere for all to see... all while reading the newspaper shirtless!!

He was a semi-retired pediatrician. They found him in his jacuzzi out in the backyard of his home.

All around town there are makeshift memorials, and this one struck me as being as odd as the Doc was, a bill posting on a local rock club.

It is as if he were performing that night, instead saying "RIP", not the day of the week....
