Fuschia

Last year, I planted two fuschias. The first, a large, pretty, pale pink bush, which died in the winter snow. The second was a little squirt, which I thought would grow, but seemed to die away.

Suddenly, almost unnoticed as it's so tiny, a few flowers have appeared. The plant is still so small, it could easily be overlooked. But when looked at it closely, it is a miniature wonder in a barren patch.
