These aren't just chocolate brownies, these are Mr. Blogs' home-made BB birthday brownies...
Melt 4oz of very dark, unsweetened chocolate with 4oz of butter until it's smooth. Let it cool completely.
Mix in two teaspoons of vanilla essence, a dash of almond essence and two cups of sugar.
Beat in four large eggs.
Add a cup of flour and a cup of coarsely chopped walnuts, mix until just combined.
Line a 1-2" deep medium sized tray or dish with tin foil, so it goes right up and over the edges and grease it up with some butter.
Pour in the mix and spread it around so it fills the tray evenly.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175ºC (350ºF) for about 25 minutes, or until a stick of (uncooked) spaghetti poked into the middle comes out clean.
Place on a cooling rack, allow to cool completely.
Lift out the brownies using the tinfoil, cut to size.
