DOORS IN OSLO # 13

I've been dying to show you this wonderful door. Today it is raining and a good idea to go inside to show you this outside door.

The door belongs to the remains of the portal to Fåberg Stove church. It is from 1150s, but the beautiful lock is from 1300. You will find it in our National Historical Museum.

I would love to show you something else in the museum that took me by surprise and gave me a laugh for it's creativity and modern way of presenting history. Among the bronze rings and pottery shards was puppets of Norse gods who spice up the exhibition! check this out Frøya
