Just be

Isolated.
Impatient.
T'was like that
Today.
Conversely,
the sun,
with all
its glory,
for a while,
twinkled
a downcast
physiognomy.

And so too,
There.
Ignored
too long confined
yet seemingly
persevering tapestry
of loving stitches.
I sat,
fingers nimble
with a needle
and sew
my heart away.

It was a drag today. I have been secluded for too long. However, this passage cheered me up: "The LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you."

I have picked up an unfinished quilt project that's been ignored for the longest time. Felt quite content at the end of the day. I'm healing well. Thank you all for your kind thoughts.
