Supporting a community

Off out tonight with Lord hopalong (we'll see how it goes!!), to support this very worthy event. Its all in the aid of trying to keep the Campsie memorial hall open, so that it can be used by the local community. Its amazing how things like this rally a community together and more power to their elbow! This is just one microscopic example of the cuts that are already taking place and affecting communities across Scotland.
Its okay in the short term to have these plans but when your 20-30 years down the road and the local authority have sold it off and its flats or a carpark hey its too late for the next generation to have toddler groups, or activity clubs or even a village meeting, its just another community with lost historic identity.
