With mountains like these

Words fail me

Unbelievable. Agu was very tired after visiting Arenal last night, so he missed tennis to help me shop for figs, cherries and nectarines. Fiona picked us up, we unloaded in the Port and then went back for Ben, fresh from his post tennis swim. All aboard the Joanine!

We headed far out in search of dolphins, who were obviously having a snooze somewhere in the shadier parts of the coast, but sailfish and flying fish leapt about amidst shrieks of delight.

Into Cala Tuent bay, and the riotous fun began. We all walked the plank, with marks out of ten for best entry into the azure waters. And then jetskiing. Now I'm normally not one for this kind of machine, they're noisy and dangerous etc. etc., but for once in a while, to be the hullabaloos amidst some very posh yachts was worth every snooty look we may have got. The boys were in (or on)their element, literally. And that included some boys a little bit over twenty something. Act as old as your shoe size - but continental sizes :) I was a bit miffed I had to pass. Next time when this stupid back is sorted, and I'll be off.

A fantastic lunch, with beatiful creations from Lydia, more leaping into the sea and then we gently motored back across what Ben described as blue cream.

A truly fabulous day where everyone forgot their worries and delighted in the world. Lucky, lucky, lucky things we are. And thanks so much to Skip Malcolm and Adria from the Black Sea, for their expertise, generosity and welcome on board.
