This banner and many others, are displayed in the People's History Museum in Manchester.

The Museum covers Britain's struggle for democracy over two centuries.

Some of the banners are embroidered, but this one was beautifully painted, showing scenes of working men in the iron foundries and steel works. As some of my own ancestors were employed in North West iron foundries, this banner really appealed to me.
