New Wheels

The kids and I were on our way to "storytime" at the library today when I passed this little treasure in front of one of the local antique shops. I of course, couldn't resist....

With my son strapped in the backpack (screaming that he wanted to play with the glass knobs), and my daughter playing with the glass knobs, I gave it the once over and we were headed back home.

My son is having a hard time understanding why it doesn't move like his bike.... Other than a broken spoke which is barely holding the wheel together, I am hoping it holds up for a few photo shoots :)
