Food Court

So much of the Central mall could be in any medium to big city in the US, but when you come to the food court, you realize you're still in Thailand. There are many common restaurants around the mall, including McDonald's, Sizzler, and Starbucks, but the food court is another story. Piles of food sit on tables, with a lady standing behind the table waiting to cook or heat up your selection over a small grill. No vents, fire extinguishers, or running water needed. Meatballs on skewers, fried squid rings, and toasted tofu squares were among the favorites of the girls I was with.
