Hampden Beach

Hampden, a seaside village with a good beach and camping ground which attracts summer holiday makers.
We often stop here on our way south, (to Balclutha) to have fish and chips which are of the best - fresh blue cod which melts in your mouth - and to give Amber a run around.
You can see the fishing village of Moeraki in the distance.
