Baking Day

Daughter E baked these devine Chocolate Profiteroles today.

I remember her Great Grandmother baking Cream Puffs, which are similar. If ever she needed to 'take a plate' you could bet it would be Cream Puffs, as everyone loved them and asked for them, it was "And Annie your'll bring your delicious Cream Puffs, won't you?" If Daughter E's Great Grandfather needed a plate for bowls yes it was Cream Puffs.  I remember eating them, the puff was very light in texture and the cream was so fresh with just a little bit of Icing Sugar. These Cream Puffs are not easy to make, quite often being rubbery and tough and theres not many in our family that have 'the knack'.

But I think Daughter E has 'the knack' and will be very able to carry on this family tradition.  This is her first attempt at the Profiteroles and I must say her Grandmother and Grandfather said they're "Seriously Good" amoungst all the mmmmm's and yums! Perhaps this will be her 'take a plate' special :)

Last day of Photoshop workshop today - it was absolutely awesome!! I had a fantastic time, learnt lots and now feel more confident in experimenting. Spent time on effects, more layers and montages - now it will be practise and trying to remember. I'm tired and my eyes are quite sore, so will head away now and have a rest and some quite time - Oh and some lovely Chocolate Profiteroles for dessert!!
