Patina Dragon

Appleton Museum has two of these beautiful Patina Dragon's guarding it's entrance. They are of Asian influence. To guard and protect from evil spirits.
Very large and beautiful statues. Update the proper name for these are Fu Dogs.
Thank you for my cheering on of my 50th Blip yesterday it really got me going.
I was up and at it this morning taking blips at seven AM before our heat index rises to 113 degrees today. I had taken some photos last year of these dragons but could not share because of the rules on Blip. I am not as pleased with these but it is a different time of the year. The foliage was much prettier when I took them last year. Hope you enjoy.
