Fixing the bottom of the lane...

Fixing the bottom of the lane that we have to use to go anywhere... at least that's what we hope they're doing!

The work to widen the road which will ultimately link the new wind turbines has, until today, ignored the fact that we have to go down and come up a steep hill to get to and from our property. When we went to the village this morning we had to more or less drop down a step where the digger is in the photo, and coming back... well we could have done with a 4x4. But now they appear to be digging out the bottom of the lane and replacing the mud with stone, which will be so much better in the rain, snow and mud of winter.
