Swan on the Liffey

Woke up early this morning eager again to go wondering. Especially as the weather was still beautiful. First we decied to visit the National Museum of Ireland where there was a complete Viking ship that was recently brought from Denmark, actually one of the people that rowed it was around to answer questions and give some great information about the ship and their journey. In 2008 it is scheduled to return to Denmark. Also there were a couple of very intersting exhibitions about the 1916 Easter Rising and the involvement of the Irish in wars around the world! A great restaurant we found was the Market Bar in the centre of Dublin. In the evening we went to the Musical Pub Crawl . A visit to three pubs, guided by two musicians who would sing and tell jokes. Needless to say that we sample the Guinness in every available opportunity and the Ha'penny Bridge Inn was surely among the best. Final decision was however postponed for tomorrow :-)
