Ready, Steady, Lie Down

A third dry day (well, only mild showers) in a row and we braved a walk around a local Loch. Three miles with little miss here in a baby carrier. Fair to say that I was knackered!

Lunch in the Mountain Food Cafe and then back for some playtime and chilling out.

Baby42 did her first laugh/giggles today fo Grandma. In Tesco. She's yet to giggle for Mrs42 or I :-(

... but here she is from earlier in the day showing off how she can't quite crawl yet (on Barking's Blip Blanket). But at least she's pretty chilled out on her tummy.

Much better bigger.

Meal Out Report
------------------

We went to the Rowan Tree Hotel just south of Aviemore. Arrived at just after eight when baby42 was in bed and Grandma left to babysit. We talked about baby42 quite a bit ... although all in absract and reminiscing/looking ahead rather than worrying.

The food was really, really good - I had Gressingham Duck with a plum tarte tatin and dauphinoise potatoes and Mrs42 had a chicken breast stuffed with olives and feta on a stack of roasted root veg and with a plum tomato salsa.

By the time we had finished I could hardly move...

We were only out for a couple of hours, but it was a real treat.
