I was looking at a fountain (or series of cascading pools) in Hyde park, trying to find something in the midday sun. I can't control the shutter speed to get the waterfall effect with the compact (not that I could have done much with this much light). I decided that this flower was most interesting.
If I went back I wouldn't cut through it with the pool and would have tried to frame it so the corner isn't blown out, but that is for another day. I need to get better at reviewing the pictures in camera.
