The person who invented whiteboards would be proud of Joe, the colleague I share an office with. This piece of mental art was constructed whilst I was away on holiday and summarizes where his thinking has reached in defining the role of front-facing service staff - not exclusively in IT.

Each time I look up from my desk ... I see it. It's a bit humbling at times. My philosophy of "winging it" does not appear anywhere on the board. Now I've mentioned it perhaps I'll add those very words whilst he's away and see if he notices!
