lost

This little cutie (seems to be a "Puggle"- 1/2 Pug, 1/2 Beagle) actually scratched on our front door this morning. I'd never seen her around the neighborhood. This is when I tried tying her out in the shade in the front yard for a while, in case someone was driving around trying to find her. Also called the animal shelter and the police. Then I took her to the animal hospital where I work, and we scanned her and found a microchip number. But that only led to a kennel in Oklahoma that hasn't returned a call yet. The owners never registered the number in their name.
I had plans with daughter J, so left the dog at work. (I was also trying to avoid getting too involved if we kept her here. We'll see how it turns out...
