Los Angeles Traffic

long day today. stayed up late last night making some amendments to a friends resume and studying for the gmat. woke up groggy this morning, worked out of the house until noon and then scrambled up to the hospital to have lunch with helen. unfortunately, she was having a busy day as well and i sat in her office and ate lunch alone while she was seeing patients. made it to the office at around 2, and didn't leave until 7:45pm. I've lived in los angeles for 6 years now, and i still think that if i wait long enough the traffic will die down. it's a myth- the traffic is 24/7 here. the 6.7 mile drive from my office in beverly hills to my house in santa monica takes no less than 45 minutes. anyway, not any time for a blip today, so i worked this one in while sitting in traffic on wilshire.
